Congratulations to Malena Field for being named 2020 Professional of the Year by the El Paso Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Malena works in the Human Resources Department as an Employee Relations Advisor and Title IX Coordinator.
Most recently, when COVID-19 changed our world, Malena took on the challenge to coordinate the College's efforts in serving as the "point-location" for student and staff, establishing exposure and positive finding protocols, coordinating training and PPE communications, developing screening tools, and maintaining the College's daily COVID-19 positive metrics.
A native of El Paso, Ms. Field holds a BBA in marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso and has been working in the human resources profession for 25+ years.
Her civic involvement includes: national member of SHRM, president of the RotaCare Medical Clinic of El Paso, member of the El Paso SHRM, member of the Rotary Club of El Paso, CASFV, the Braden Aboud Foundation, Executive Forum, and the El Paso Leadership Academy, Class XII.
