EPCC Board of Trustees unanimously voted Monday, Aug. 3, to approve a two percent (2%) pay increase for all EPCC employees effective Sept. 1, 2026, according to a Monday evening email posting from Faculty Association president Albert Burnham.

Burnham previously had sent out notice to faculty that he was disappointed in the proposed increase as it was insufficient to cover rising inflation costs.

In his email, Burnham reported the increase should be reflected in the 2026-2027 faculty contracts.  He added that Carlos Amaya, Vice President of Instruction and Workforce, will be attending the Faculty Association meeting Aug. 20 during Faculty Development Week.

"I have asked him (Amaya) to address why the increase is so small," Burnham posted.

The meeting, set to start at 10 a.m. in the ASC Boardroom, includes brunch.

"Hope to see many of you there,"  Burnham concluded his email.
