EPCC will conduct a test of the Tejano Alert System on Thursday, April 2, 2026. This test allows the college to verify that emergency notifications are working properly and that important information can be quickly shared with our campus community during an emergency.

During the test, students will receive a Tejano Alert. The message will clearly indicate that it is only a test, and no action will be required.

"Regular testing of emergency communication systems is part of the college's ongoing commitment to keeping the campus community informed, prepared, and safe," according to a college press release.

Students may sign up to receive Tejano Alerts or update contact information online at https://www.epcc.edu/Services/Police/tejano-alert or may install the AtHoc Notifier app on iOS or Android. Upon opening the app for the first time, when prompted, students use

EPCC email address and Organization Code: “epcc"
