All EPCC faculty are invited to apply for the 2025 Spring Master Teacher Program.  The following information was emailed to all faculty:

 

Applications are now open for the Master Teacher Program: Pedagogy in Practice! This unique opportunity is available to all faculty and offers a collaborative space to enhance teaching practices through peer observation and feedback. 

Discover the Master Teacher Program This program fosters a supportive environment where instructors observe each other’s teaching practices, whether in-person or online. By joining this program, you will: 

  • Observe your colleagues’ teaching strategies in action. 

  • Share your own classroom or online teaching methods. 

  • Engage in discussions to offer constructive feedback on lesson design, student engagement, and content delivery. 

Participants will have the chance to reflect on classroom management, time management, and innovative teaching strategies, while building a network of support within the EPCC community. Faculty will also receive compensation for their participation. 

Program Vision: To foster collaboration, promote diverse teaching styles, and build a strong support network for EPCC faculty. 

Program Mission: To provide paid opportunities for faculty to observe, discuss, and refine teaching practices in a relaxed and non-prescriptive setting. 

Program Format: 

  • Open to all faculty. 

  • Applications can be submitted individually or as a team. 

  • Observe: Attend a team member’s class or virtual session. 

  • Host: Welcome a team member to observe your class. 

  • Discuss: Meet for feedback and discussion. 

  • Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours over the semester. 

  • Participants are compensated for observations and feedback sessions as part of a non-instructional assignment.
