April 17 is Military Student Appreciation Day and the college wants to thank each of our military students for their service.

For over 50 years, EPCC has had a close, fruitful relationship with Fort Bliss. Each year over 3,000 active duty, veterans and dependents attend EPCC.

The college would like to let our military students know how important they are to us.

"EPCC is committed to providing targeted support to veterans, military members and their families including clearing roadblocks to registration, developing clear pathways for degree or program completion, enhancing career exploration and improving networks for course acceptance and transfer,” Dr. William Serrata, EPCC President, said.

The work we do with our military students was recognized again this year by being awarded a 2020-2021 Military Friendly® School Gold designation by VIQTORY.

Now in its 10th year, the Military Friendly® Schools list has come to set the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses.
