El Paso Animal Services took their adoption van to Valle Verde campus Wednesday, March
22 with eight dogs available for adoption.
Students went through the vehicle to visit with them, some giving them available treats.
"All the dogs are spayed or neutered and have city licenses," said Marilyn Escapita, adoptions
outreach specialist. "The van was scheduled to be on campus until 1 p.m. Wednesday marked
the third year that El Paso Animal Services has held a pet adoption event at Valle Verde."
The visit was made possible by Student Leadership & Campus Life.
EPCC students Denisse Hidalgo Alderete and Maximiliano Palacios took photos of the event.
