Blackboard course availability disrupted as faculty begin semester preparations

According to an Outlook Mail posting Friday, August 14, from Distance Learning Support Services (DLSS) and college Information Technology, some course availability on the college's Learning Management Blackboard service has been disrupted.

"We are currently experiencing an issue with the Banner SIS feed to Blackboard that is affecting course availability," according to an email posting from DLSS. "As a result, some courses may not be displaying in Blackboard as expected," the email concludes.
The email continues stating, "Distance Learning Support Services (DLSS) and Information Technology (IT) are actively working to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible."
Updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available, according to the DLSS email.
