Energy Techno Records will be hosting a non-profit charitable event at Church Bar on March 13 and will distribute all collected contributions to the OCEANS initiative at Northwest campus and the Rescue Mission of El Paso.
Donations will be accepted from 5 pm to 2 am.

Owner and Founder of Energy Techno Records, Gabriel Rodriguez, says “My main focus and goal is to be able to give back to our community.
We are focusing on helping those in need through music.”
This event is one of many more to come.
Rodriguez explained, “This is the beginning of a series of events scheduled to take place through the summer with other organizations we have chosen to distribute the collected goods to.”
The next event hosted by ETR will be at Mona bar on March 27.
Items collected at that event will go to Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home.
Rodriguez mentioned, “The specific need for that event will be toiletries and hygienic products like soaps, shampoo, razors and lotions, etc.”
Rodriguez says, “There’s always a need to help one way or another and we’d like to do just that while also having a good time and sharing our love for sound.
The DJs from ETR have volunteered their time for these events in hopes of making a difference.”
“Those who contribute five items or more will be entered into a raffle to win VIP service for themselves and friends that night, courtesy of Church Bar” says Rodriguez, “so come out, make a difference, support your local
community and have a great time.”
General manager of Church Bar, Manuel Barquin, shared that they would be giving 10 percent of all sales for that day to the charitable organizations named for this event, and for donations, you can get a ticket for a dollar drink.
