Minn has become known by a lot of people thanks to his long list of documentaries he has done. He is also well known locally because several of his documentaries are about Mexico.
Other notable documentaries that Minn has created include “8 Murders a Day” about the most dangerous city in the world Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua and “Mexico’s Bravest Man” about a Mexican police chief that survived eight assassination attempts due to his attempts to take down drug cartels.
Minn has made several other documentaries about other serious issues such as “49 pulses,” a film about the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida where 49 people were killed; making it the worst mass shooting in U.S. history up until that point.
When asked if he was scared of making the documentaries, Minn answered that of course he is scared of making these films but it’s all worth the awareness and message it spreads.
The most dangerous situation Minn noted when he was filming in Tijuana was when a shootout began to happen close to his location.
The trailer for “7 Murders a Day” depicted family members grieving and screaming for their dead loved ones.
It also showed people talking about how drug cartels in Tijuana are so powerful that they control everything from the people to the government.
Minn also showed a clip he filmed of Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman’s son, Ovidio Guzman Lopez, who was arrested last year but was released by the government because of violent events that took place in Culiacan after the Sinaloa Cartel caused chaos and demanded him be let go.
Minn was able to get a video of Ovidio Guzman being released from Mexican Government authorities.
