The trip has been planned by EPCC psychology professors Chris Ramirez and Guilleromo Gomez, they plan to take about 15 college students on a tour of Spain giving them the opportunity to explore the streets and museums of Madrid, gaze upon the architectural masterpieces of Barcelona or relax by the beaches of Costa del Sol.
Students can learn Spanish and taste different foods, there will also be a chance to make new friends and meet other college students from around the country.
Students will be getting an educational experience by being able to travel to a foreign country such as Spain and having the international experience will give students the skills they need to succeed in a global world.
It can help with promotions or applying for a job where such skills are seen as beneficial.
While on the tour students will go through Psychology and how it influenced Spain.
Of course, there will be a professional tour guide who will be assisting with the tour around Spain, as an extra feature students can sign up for an excursion for a nominal fee to see other sights and travel on their own following the tour.
Students don’t have to be Psychology major nor do students have to take any special course, all is being asked that students have the curiosity for traveling and wanting to experience other cultures.
The trip will start with a flight straight from El Paso to Barcelona, and once there the group will be meeting with other college students.
There will be an 11-day itinerary, this will include the different cities students will visit such as Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Costa del Sol, Seville, Toledo and Madrid.
The prices of the trip may range anywhere around $3,800 to $4,000 and includes the cost of travel, food, hotel and guided tours.
Students who sign up until July 19th will receive a $175.00 discount.
A meeting will be set up to talk about ideas for saving money to pay for the trip, the company will offer scholarships for those who might need financial assistance. Monthly payment plans are available, the sooner the sign up the lower the payments. Students may also enroll over the phone by calling Traveler Support at
