Theatre season ends with garden of delight

El Paso Community College Theater Ensemble will offer its last play of the 2018-19 season with Children of Eden. 

 

Performances will be held April 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at 8:00 p.m. and April 21 and 28 at 2:00 p.m.

This soaring, two-act musical is freely based on stories from Genesis. In Children of Eden; Adam, Eve, Noah, and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of the respective children in this frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. 

 

Children of Eden is directed and choreographed by Greg Thompson with music and lyrics by Steven Schwartz. 

 

Schwartz is also famed for creating the music for Wicked, Pippin and Godspell. The EPCC Theater Ensemble performs at the EPCC Transmountain Campus Forum Theater, 9570 Gateway North. 

 

Ticket prices are: General Admission-$20, Non-EPCC students-$15, EPCC students-$10, EPCC staff and senior citizens-$6. Tickets are available at the door, cash only. The box office opens two hours before each performance.
