El Paso Community College’s 50th anniversary is approaching much more rapidly than we thought and it is a big accomplishment.
El Paso Community College was founded and established in June of 1969. The college district was not always as big as it is now.

Crowds watch as EPCC's commemorative 50th anniversary logo was revealed at the State of the College Address.
The start of EPCC began with funds given to the district to enable the enrollment of 901 students the September of 1969.
Over the last half century, El Paso Community College has expanded to multiple parts of the city.
EPCC now has five campuses and 12 Early College programs all around El Paso.El Paso Community College also offers high school concurrent enrollment for students.
These classes are available right in their high school campus.EPCC is also in partnership with the army called College
First,.This program offers tuition allowance for individuals in the army. El Paso Community College continues to receive national recognition for its educational excellence.
Such recognitions include federal grants for curriculum development, as well as being named the top college in the nation for Hispanic students seeking an Associates Degree.
The promotion of education is a big commitment that EPCC lives up to and offers the best for students in El Paso.
