The annual EPCC Transfer Fair is just around the corner on Oct. 25.
The fair will take place at the Valle Verde Student Services Center on from noon-2 p.m.
The event took place on Oct. 14 at the Transmountain Campus.
Silvia Dominguez, Transfer Fair director, mentioned how the transfer fair can be a great opportunity for students who are unsure which school will be a good fit for them.
“It [the fair] will be very important and it will help prepare students for university applications, fees, tuition cost, deadlines and scholarships,” she said.
Thirty-six universities will be attending, among these are New Mexico State, Texas Tech, UTEP, UT Austin, University of Houston, Park University, Universal Technical Institute and St. Mary’s.
It’s recommended that students bring an unofficial transcript to the fair.
Students who are uncertain where they would like to continue their education are advised to speak with a counselor.
Students can ask questions about scholarships, if they require a certain GPA, or if they have housing in their campus etc.
