The EPCC softball team got their 2017 season off to a rocky start, dropping their first seven games.
But the Tejanas have been on a roll since then, winning their last four games in a row.
After playing their first seven games on the road, the Tejanas returned home last weekend and were pounded in their first two games by Seward County CC (13-1) and McCook CC (12-3).
EPCC returned the favor by defeated Seward County CC 8-7 and then McCook CC 11-3 in the next two.
Last Sunday, the Tejanas took two games from McCook CC, 10-2 and 11-1.
Among the stars for the Tejanas over the weekend were Ericka Martinez, who went 11 for 17 with four runs scored, 10 RBI and two home runs (a grand slam against McCook on Saturday).
Brielle Fraijo also had a big weekend, going 9 for 20 with nine runs scored, three RBI and two stolen bases.
Kayla Martin went 6 for 13 with eight runs scored, eight RBI and two home runs.
