Premiered on August 5, 2016, Suicide Squad was the most anticipated film to appear on the big screen.

Suicide Squad members Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Rick Flagg, Katana.
With over a million views to each trailer, it was developing into the movie people wanted to go see during summer break.
It was the first film of the late summer where the hero was not the star but instead was all about the bad guys.
It was refreshing to see the other side of the story, to get an insight of how they became what they are.
A look into each villain’s back-story was what made this movie interesting.
The squad consisted of dead shot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, El Diablo, Killer Croc, Katana, and Slipknot. Another major character was the Joker; unfortunately he was more of a supporting character.
This was a letdown because I really was looking forward to seeing more of him, especially with his partner in crime and ladylove, Ms. Harley Quinn.
His role in my belief was more of a supporting character but if there were more scenes with him, the movie would have undergone a different tone.
Nevertheless, Jared Leto’s version of the Joker was an amazing outlook in my opinion.
Though moviegoers either had positive or negative views on the movie, it did gross over $731.9 million and is still going strong to this day.
It was a movie that took risks and had interesting twists.
I myself am a Harley Quinn fan so when I went to go see the movie, I went in Harley Quinn fashion.
Suicide Squad may not be your cup of tea but it did put a new twist on what makes a hero and an insight to how a bad guy becomes a villain.
So from a summer blockbuster to a fall finisher, it is still a movie that is grossing in the box-office and proving to overcome credits reviews.
