El Paso Community College is selling El Paso Chihuahuas tickets for $10.
The college is selling the tickets for the 2nd Annual EPCC Night with the El Paso Chihuahuas sponsored by the Classified Staff Association (CSA).
CSA, which at the moment consist of 11 members, is responsible for catering to the interest and general welfare of its members and the college as they relate to policy issues.
“Our priority is our peers because the college doesn’t really provide opportunities like this for staff,” said CSA President Belinda Quinones.
With the game soon approaching, the CSA members are very enthusiastic to spend that night with their co-workers and families.
The 2015 Night with the El Paso Chihuahuas resulted in much success. June’s game appears to be having just as much –having already sold 233 tickets with only 12 tickets remaining.
CSA members are so pleased with the success of the sales and plan to “blow up” the next event by purchasing more tickets for 2017’s Night with the Chihuahuas and putting out flyers and advertisements in the Student Union in order to inform more students.
The June game proves to be a bit different from the 2015 game because ticket purchasers will have better seating.
EPCC President Dr. William Serrata will have the honor of throwing the first pitch.
“Let’s hope he’s practicing his pitch,” said CSA member Jessie Arellano jokingly.
There will be park and ride shuttle services available to those who attend the game as well as $2 Bark Bucks valid for concessions or merchandise.
Both students and faculty are welcomed to join the CSA at the game.
The game will be at 7:05 p.m., on June 24 at 1 BallPark Plaza.
The Chihuahuas will be playing against the Salt Lake Bees, who defeated the Chihuahuas in April.
Tickets are available for purchase at all EPCC campus cashiers.
