Four for four with the win for both men and women

The Tejanos had two double header games this weekend against Luna Community College.

 

All four games were a clean sweep for the Tejanos ending in scores of 3-2, 15-8, 8-7 and 17-16.

 

Now their conference record stands at 5-11. With their overall record standing at 8-27.

 

“We feel like we have team unity, a lot of potential,” said volunteer Assistant Coach, Alan Droke, “We have 25 active [players]. We have red shirts as well, they aren’t going to play this year. They are getting ready for next year.”

 

The next two games for the Tejanos will be April 8, 9 against Frank Phillips College in Borger, TX.

 

Double header games were also played by the Tejanas against Luna Community College.

 

Luna dropped all four games to the Tejanas with scores of 10-8, 16-4, 10-5 and 14-4 this past weekend.

 

That makes their overall record stand at 20-19-1 and a conference record of 9-3.

 

Tejanas have the next two games this weekend with an at home advantage against Odessa College.

 

Both these games start at 1pm.
