This table at the Career & Transfer Center (Student Services Center building) has plenty of pamphlets and flyers about different universities.
Students who are looking to transfer have several options.
El Paso Community College has set up transfer fair dates to assist you in this decision.
Another place to get some more information is the Career and Transfer Services offices in the Student Services Building at the EPCC Valle Verde Campus.
There you will find admissions recruiters for UTEP, UT Austin, NMSU, Park University, and Texas Tech.
The Career & Transfer Services center is committed to the concept of assisting students and do so by making resources available to students.
They offer help with career choices and the transfer application process, have transfer guides available, hold transfer fairs.
They also assist students with writing resumes and letters of recommendation.
For more information on their services students can visit https://www.epcc.edu/CAREERSERVICES.
Transfer recruiter Carlos Rodriguez explained that the first step that a student must take if interested in transferring to UTEP would be to fill out a transfer application at www.applytexas.org.
It is necessary for students to have a GPA of at least 2.0.
Once the student has processed their application then they can begin attending the university and drop by the admissions office if they have any questions.
