College theater rocking in horror

The Theater Ensembles of El Paso Community College will be offering its second play of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The story revolves around Brad and Janet, a couple that got stuck with a flat tire during a storm, which led them to discover the mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist who plays the role of the mad but “sweet transvestite from Transylvania.” 

Through elaborate rock songs and dances, Dr. Frank-N-Furter shows off his latest creation. It involves the famous “Rocky”, a muscular man.
The performance will be held at the EPCC Transmountain Campus Forum Theater, 9570 Gateway North. 

General admission for non-EPCC students is $15, military will be $10 and EPCC students/staff and senior citizens are $7. 

Tickets are available at the door and are sold two hours before each performance. The performances will be on Oct. 22-24 and 28-30 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m. 

A Rocky Horror costume contest will also be held be on Halloween at midnight.
