The EPCC Tejanos baseball team and Tejanas softball team will be having tryouts this summer for the approaching year.
Both of the tryouts for the baseball and softball team will be at the Valle Verde campus, 919 Hunter. It will be open tryouts, meaning no player will have to sign up and any high school graduate is welcome.
Those interested in playing for the Tejanos baseball team must attend tryouts on Saturday, June 27, at the EPCC Baseball Field. Check-in begins at 7 a.m.. All players wishing to attend the tryouts need to bring a copy of their completed physical exam within the past 12 months and their own equipment.
The fee for the tryout is $20 and will include a t-shirt. Although the exact number of players to be chosen for a complete roster has not been determined, approximately 28 players may be picked for the team.

Tryouts for the Tejanas softball team will take place on two separate days, Tuesday, June 23 and Saturday, July 11, at the EPCC Softball Field. All players must bring a copy of their completed physical exam within the past 12 months and their own equipment.
The fee for the tryouts will be $15. Registration on both days for position players will begin at 7:15 a.m. with tryouts beginning at 8:15 a.m. Pitchers and catchers will report for registration at noon and tryouts will begin at 1p.m..
