The El Paso Annunciation House will be benefited from the toiletry items collected.
The EPCC Service Learning program and the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) Pinning Committee are conducting a toiletry drive for the El Paso Annunciation House to help the less fortunate.
They will be taking donations until the last day of the semester.
“The Annunciation House works to provide an experience of service, accompaniment and solidarity with the poor in this border community of El Paso and Juarez,” said Deborah Diaz, Service Learning program clerk at EPCC.
“The work has its primary focus responding to the undocumented immigrants and refugees.”
Donations accepted are shampoo, conditioner, body soap, tooth paste, tooth brushes, hair brushes, feminine products and deodorant.
The LVN Pinning Committee and the Service Learning program will also be helping by delivering donations.
“We have committed to serve the community as a recognized club and we participate in fundraising and donations year round,” Diaz said.
They began accepting donations on Oct. 27 and they will continue until Dec. 10.
Donations can be dropped off in Valle Verde at room A1314, Rio Grande at room A125, Transmountain at room 1527 and Mission Del Paso room D109.
