With the recent release of the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, EPCC will be having a tournament presented by the Computer Science and Integrated Technology (CSIT) club.

It will be held at the Valle Verde Student Union on Oct. 24 and it will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 5 p.m.

“People should go for three main reasons: one, it’s a fun game. Two, this is an opportunity to meet new people, not only in the computer science department, but also our own campus. And thirdly, to support one of the clubs that are here on campus,” said Christian Servin, computer science instructor.

The donation entry-fee will be $5 and the donation buyback will be $8. Only 64 people will be able to compete.

“They decided to close the Student Union just for us,” Servin said.

“The tournament will be the only event that will take place on Friday.”

The first place prize will be a $100 Best Buy gift card, the second place prize is a $25 gift card.
